"Disobey me and I swear I will drown you in the sea, understand?" It depends on how well you do during my other 'lessons', you see you have been such a terrible slave so I will teach you." Ancano said with a sinister look, just as the calm spell wore off he grabbed a fistful of Vespias short hair causing her to yelp in pain. "See this? I told your Mentor, that Stabs-Many-Foes, I would teach you to conjure a Flame Atronach and I will, maybe. She watched as Ancano casually strolled to her front, still holding the Conjuration book which he held in front of her face. Still feeling quite calm and perhaps a little pathetic Vespia stayed on her knees with a small, hypnotic grin on her lips. Ah and I see you removed the bracelet and were then defeated without casting a single spell. "What's more, only the especially weak stop moving when under this spells effects. "I'm almost embarrassed that Calm spell worked on you, most skeevers are too powerful for such sorcery." Ancano said rudely, approaching Vespia from behind he kicked the back of her legs causing her to drop to her knees in the sand. She stood in place like a statue as a odd sense of peace and calm washed over her, she also noted a blueish aura around her meaning one of Ancanos spells hit her though she somehow didn't care. Her heart pounding, Vespia continued to sprint down along the beach though her escape attempt was quickly foiled as the blonde came to a abrupt and involuntary halt. "Retreating? I can't blame you, you're hopelessly outmatched." Ancano called out, sounding rather proud of himself. Desperately not wanting to end up beneath Ancanos feet again she shamelessly turned and ran, she knew she stood no chance of beating the Thalmor Agent. Before she could blink Vespia found multiple more ice chunks flying towards her, aching and caught off guard she was struck five times leaving barely standing and off-balance. Just then she watched Ancano appear from behind some rocks several meters away, Conjuration tome in one hand and a frosty magical aura in the other. She barely took four steps before a chunk of ice came from seemingly nowhere, it slammed into her stomach with enough force she nearly collapse. "Now that I'm free, and alone, it's time to head to the colleges library and learn something for once." "Ahh yes.so nice." Vespia mumbled merrily before she began to stroll along the beach, her boots leaving footprints in the black sand. No longer defenseless she raised both hands and fired column of flames into the air to celebrate. Without hesitation Vespia threw it into the water, grinning as she felt her miniscule powers returning. Vespia scrapped the blade around inside the lock for a moment, she pushed down several pins before turning the dagger causing the bracelet to unlock with a satisfying click. "I may be a mediocre mage but I'm at least semi-competent at lockpicking." She eyed the lock before a idea popped into her mind, she drew her steel dagger and pondered for a moment why Ancano hadn't taken it away before shoving the tip of the blade into the lock. "Need to get this thing off." She mumbled, her legs both shaky and achy. The bracelet appeared to be a ordinary shackle, one that could be found in any dungeon, it was rusty, heavy and hummed with a magical energy. Happy to be alive and rid of Ancano, Vespia set her attention to the bracelet on her wrists which prevented her from regaining Magicka or casting spells. She found herself at the base of the massive rock the college sat upon, specifically she stood upon the sandy beach several hundred feet below the bridge leading to the college. After once again pondering how it was she didn't die the young mage peered around her surroundings. With that Vespia slowly got to her feet, looking down she found a imprint of herself in the black sand she had landed in. "My whole body aches though.I really need a foot slave for myself." "I don't know how I'm alive but thank the Gods.being killed by that damn elf would have been humilating." She said with relief. She laid there a moment looking up at the dim morning sky and the College which was perched atop the same rocky spire she had just fallen from. Vespia gasped and jerked up into a sitting position, after quickly looking over her body she flopped back into a laying position with a sigh of relief.
